Taft adds Three Associates in Chicago

Taft Chicago is pleased to welcome Alexandra Van Dusen, Erica Ruggieri, and Elizabeth Winkowski as associate attorneys in the Gaming, Real Estate, and Litigation practices. The firm’s Chicago office has added 20 attorneys to date in 2021.

Van Dusen focuses her practice in the area of gaming, where she advises on gaming regulatory law, including licensing, compliance, and general corporate matters in multiple jurisdictions. She was previously a litigation associate and has experience in a variety of complex litigation matters, including representing entities and individuals in disputes involving contracts, fraud, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, professional negligence, and class action claims.

Ruggieri focuses her practice on representing clients in transactions related to the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development, and financing of commercial real estate.

Through federal clerkships at the appellate and trial court level, Winkowski brings to her practice substantial research and writing experience. Prior to joining Taft, Elizabeth served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Susan H. Black in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
