Susan Wheatley Selected For Leadership Cincinnati USA Program
Cincinnati, OH – Susan E. Wheatley, a partner in the Tax, Probate and Estate Planning Department of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, has been selected for the 2006-2007 Leadership Cincinnati USA program sponsored by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Wheatley, a resident of Anderson Township, is co-chair of the firm’s Estate Planning Practice Group and co-chair of the firms Family Business Practice Group. She is chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Committee for the Cincinnati Bar Association and serves on the Subcommittee on Gift Planning of the University of Cincinnati Foundation. She also is co-founder of the Walnut Street Poetry Society of the Mercantile Library of Cincinnati, and serves on the library’s Board of Directors. She is a member of Impact 100, Inc. and a member of the firm’s Professional Women’s Resource Group (PWRG).
Wheatley received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and law degree from Northwestern University School of Law, where she served on the Northern University Law Review. She has taught estate planning as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Wheatley is listed as a 2006 Ohio Super Lawyer by Cincinnati Magazine and also named in the 2006 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
