Susan Wheatley Appointed Chair Of Estate Planning And Probate Committee For CBA

Cincinnati, OH – Susan E. Wheatley, a partner in the Tax, Probate and Estate Planning Department of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, has been appointed as chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Committee for the Cincinnati Bar Association.

Wheatley, a resident of Anderson Township, is co-chair of the firm’s Estate Planning Practice Group and co-chair of the firm’s Family Business Practice Group. She is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association Specialty Board as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law and is past president of the Board of Trustees of the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council. Wheatley serves on the Subcommittee on Gift Planning of the University of Cincinnati Foundation and also is co-founder of the Walnut Street Poetry Society of the Mercantile Library in Cincinnati. She is a member of Impact 100, Inc. and a member of the firm’s Professional Women’s Resource Group (PWRG).

Wheatley received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and law degree from Northwestern University School of Law, where she served on the Northern University Law Review. Wheatley is listed as a 2006 Ohio Super Lawyer by Cincinnati Magazine and also named in the 2006 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
