Sumner to Moderate Panel at Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Legislative Day

Taft partner Suzanne Sumner will moderate a panel discussion at the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Legislative Day in Columbus, Ohio, on May 23. The panel will be presented during the Legislative Briefings and Policy Updates portion of the day and will focus on military and veteran retention and attraction in Ohio. In her role as moderator, Sumner will draw from her experience in defense contract law and offer insights into regional aerospace and defense companies.

Sumner is co-chair of Taft’s Government Contracts Practice Group. She works closely with prime contractors and subcontractors on a variety of issues related to their government contracts. In addition to providing advice on issues pertaining to multi-million and multi-billion-dollar government contracts, she serves on several boards and recently served as an Honorary Commander for the 445th Airlift Wing at WPAFB. Sumner has also been recognized on the Dayton Business Journal’s Influencers Law list and the Dayton BizWomen Power 50 list.
