Taft partner Suzanne Sumner has been selected to The Business Journal’s Influencers Law list, a list that spotlights 100 attorneys who are having an impact on business and legal matters in communities across the nation. She is one of only three Dayton attorneys selected for inclusion. The attorneys were identified in conjunction with editors and staff writers across the Dayton Business Journal’s network of more than 40 publications. 

Sumner focuses her practice on government contracts law and is a member of the firm’s Administration Committee and Succession and Transition Committee. She assists prime contractors and subcontractors with all issues related to their government contracts, including FAR/DFARS compliance reviews, negotiating agreements, compliance with Berry Amendment, Buy America and Trade Agreements Act requirements, internal investigations, claims, and bid protests. Sumner serves on several boards, and is currently serving her third term as vice president of the Greater Ohio Valley Chapter of Women in Defense.
