Sumner Elected VP of Greater Ohio Valley Chapter of Women in Defense
Taft partner Suzanne Sumner has been elected vice president of the Greater Ohio Valley chapter of Women in Defense (WID). WID currently has more than 4,000 members and 21 chapters nationwide and is an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association.
Sumner focuses her practice on government contracts law and commercial litigation. She assists prime contractors, subcontractors and public buyers with issues related to their government contracts, from the pre-solicitation phase to contract close out.
Sumner currently serves as an ex-officio and legal counsel for DaytonDefense, where she is involved in several defense contractor and community-related issues pertaining to Dayton and the surrounding area. She is also a trustee for the DaytonDefense Educational Foundation and a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
