Spitzig Selected for WE Lead Class 17
Taft partner Erica Spitzig has been selected to participate in the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s WE Lead program for 2022-2023. Its 17th class includes 54 executives from 52 organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area. WE Lead is a 10-month executive leadership program for high-potential, ambitious women preparing for the next level of their careers. The program allows participants to discover and cultivate the leadership tools and strategies necessary for exceptional success.
Spitzig focuses her practice on environmental law and assists clients with regulatory compliance, litigation, enforcement, transactional due diligence, and other matters involving a broad scope of state and federal environmental statutes. She has significant experience representing clients on Clean Water Act matters and has worked extensively with municipalities on clean water legal and regulatory issues. Prior to joining Taft, Spitzig served as deputy general counsel for the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) in Washington, D.C., where she worked to advance NACWA’s legal advocacy on behalf of publicly owned wastewater and stormwater utilities nationwide.
