Sherman & Howard L.L.C. (S&H) is pleased to announce the two-year term appointments of David B. Wilson to chair and Garth B. Jensen to vice chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s International Law Section.

With nearly four decades of experience as a Colorado-based attorney practicing dispute resolution internationally, Wilson also has the unique distinction of being a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.

“I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues in the section’s leadership to grow our membership and provide useful programming that will highlight the fascinating world of international legal practice,” said Wilson, a member at S&H who has handled more than 200 cross-border matters involving parties in more than 30 countries on six continents.

Wilson served as vice chair for two years before his appointment to chair this year. He hands the torch of vice chair to S&H’s member Jensen, who also has nearly four decades of experience representing multi-national clients on business and capital market transactions throughout the world.

“We want to broaden the International Law Section’s networks and connections in the Colorado legal community and beyond. With technology for virtual and hybrid meetings, we’ll be able to feature speakers from around the world. Plus, we can ensure lawyers throughout Colorado can participate in our programs,” Wilson added.

Wilson and Jensen have both practiced in the Denver area since 1986.

The Colorado State Bar Association, founded in 1897, is a voluntary bar association for the state of Colorado with an estimated 18,000 members. There are 26 local bars within the organization. The CBA works for the common interests of attorneys and judges and is a non-profit organization.
