Taft Chicago director of operations Roseann Scorpio will speak on the panel “Navigating the Hiring Process in an Evolving Talent Landscape,” hosted by Beacon Hill Legal and the International Practice Management Association (IPMA) on March 18. Scorpio will join fellow industry professionals to discuss hiring trends, best practices as well as leading strategies to attract key legal talent.

Scorpio is the director of operations at Taft Chicago. She works directly with the Chicago chairman and partner-in-charge to create a welcoming and positive work environment for both staff and attorneys. She oversees the legal administrative assistants, paralegals, and the office services and reception teams. Roseann is responsible for day-to-day supervisory activities to effectively and efficiently manage assigned office staff, including staff performance, training and development, payroll timekeeping, and daily office operations. Her responsibilities also include overall office operations, recruiting, onboarding, office events, and retention efforts. She recently successfully completed a 125,000 square foot buildout and renovation of the office space, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations.
