Richard B. Levin to Speak at Digital Assets Forum in New York

New York – Nov. 13, 2026

Richard B. Levin, Chair of Taft’s FinTech Practice, will be speaking on a panel on The Regulatory Race: Which Jurisdictions are Winning Capital Flows – US, UK, EU, and UAE? Other speakers on the panel include Jack Fletcher of Fnality, Athanasios Vamvakidisnof the IMF, Serena McMullen of Aosphere, and Anthony Howell of the Government of Bermuda.

The panel will discuss how different jurisdictions are approaching the regulation of digital assets, including licensing, supervision, market access, and cross border activities. The discussion will also address the decisions institutions must make as they were to launch products, deploy capital, and build infrastructure and how regulation impacts these decisions.

The Digital Assets Forum, which is part of the European Blockchain Convention, brings together banks, asset managers, exchanges, custodians, infrastructure providers, founders, and policymakers. It is designed for institutional participants rather than retail crypto audiences.

Levin was one of the first lawyers to focus on the regulation of blockchain and digital assets. He is considered a thought leader in the FinTech space. Richard has been advising FinTech clients on legal and regulatory issues since the start of electronic trading in the late 1990s. His practice focuses on the representation of early stage and publicly traded companies in the FinTech space, including investment banks, broker-dealers, investment advisers, digital currency trading platforms, alternative trading systems (ATSs), exchanges, transfer agents, and custodians.
