Riccione and Chen Author Article on GDPR
Taft Chicago attorney John Riccione and summer associate Amy Chen penned the article “Effects of the GDPR: Are You Ready?” for the September issue of Agency Sales Magazine. The article reviewed the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which went into effect on May 25, and what companies need to do to be compliant with the new laws.
Riccione represents businesses in a wide array of complex commercial disputes, including real estate, construction claims, trade secrets, computer fraud and abuse, UCC warranties and remedies, and labor and employment. He is a frequent speaker on the topics of alternative fee arrangements, non-compete agreements and Uniform Commercial Code warranties.
Chen is a Diversity & Inclusion Fellow at Taft. She is a rising second-year law student at Notre Dame Law School and holds a B.S. from Indiana University, Kelly School of Business. Prior to attending law school, Chen worked for Accenture in Washington D.C., as a technology and management consultant for the Department of Health and Human Services and Department of State.
