Taft partner Marci A. Reddick has been elected president of the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority Board of Directors (FHRA). The FHRA works to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Lawrence by facilitating the economic redevelopment of the former Fort Benjamin Harrison Army Base.
Reddick is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Business & Finance groups. She represents clients in all phases of real estate acquisition, sales, finance and development. Reddick is chair of the Indiana Business Law Commission and is a past chair of the Business Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association. She is also a past chair of the Real Estate and Land Use Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association and chaired Board II of the Marion County Board of Zoning Appeals for eight years. In addition, she served as corporations counsel in the Office of Evan Bayh, Indiana Secretary of State, from 1987-1988 and as an executive assistant to Governor Bayh from 1989-1990, advising him on higher education matters and other areas of state policy.
