Poulakidas Speaks on Stimulus Funds During IEDA Conference
Taft Chicago partner Kostas Poulakidas spoke during the “Federal Recovery Funds” panel at the Indiana Economic Development Association (IEDA) Industry Outlook conference on Aug. 30. Poulakidas discussed the over $360 billion in federal stimulus funds available to local governments for infrastructure and economic development due to the adoption of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
Poulakidas is co-chair of Taft’s Public Finance and Economic Development practice. He focuses on public/municipal finance, economic development incentives and strategies, tax increment financing (TIF), venture capital, EB5 financing, tax benefits related to Qualified Opportunity Zones, forming Qualified Opportunity Zone Funds for private equity investment, private-public partnerships (P3s), and project finance.
