Taft attorneys Jonathan Polak and Cassandra Elrod co-authored the article “Joint ownership and implied license disputes in copyrights,” which was published by The Indiana Lawyer on Dec. 13. The article discusses joint ownership and implied license issues that can arise during business relationships and joint ventures.
Polak is chair of Taft’s Intellectual Property practice. He is a nationally-recognized trial attorney who handles high stakes cases for both large and small companies around the United States. His cases involve the full range of issues in IP-related litigation, and he has appeared before state and federal courts across the United States, the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board and private arbitration panels.
