Partner Sonya Jindal Tork Serves as Panelist at GE Aviation’s Diversity & Inclusion Day
Taft Cincinnati partner Sonya Jindal Tork was invited by GE Aviation to participate in the company’s Diversity & Inclusion Day on Nov. 21. Jindal Tork served on the “D&I in the Cincinnati Legal Community” panel, which was moderated by Alex Long, GE Aviation’s chief IP counsel and general counsel of engineering.
The four panelists discussed their career paths, law firm diversity and inclusion initiatives, law firm cultures and how corporate clients like GE can hold law firms accountable for following through on diversity and inclusion efforts.
Jindal Tork serves as co-chair of Taft’s Gender Advancement Committee, which works to develop, promote and advance women attorneys within Taft, the legal profession and the community. She focuses her legal practice on all aspects of tax and succession planning work, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships, restructurings, executive compensation, tax controversies and litigation, and nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations and foundations, among other areas.
