Taft partner Brett Nolan was quoted in a Jan. 8 Crain’s Chicago Business article titled “Shaw Media family settles; suit against Northern Trust goes to trial.” After years of litigation, the Shaw Media family members reached a $5.25 million settlement, allowing a portion of the group to sever ties with the newspaper company. Nolan represented Peter Shaw in the case.
