Taft Cleveland associates Allison Smith Newsome and LaTessa Gray presented on “AI Art and IP Law” at Fan Expo Cleveland on March 24, 2023. The program focused on artistic A.I. platforms and programs and their interplay with copyright law; name, image, and likeness protections; and intellectual property law.

Newsome is chair of the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, which sponsored the presentation.

Newsome focuses her practice on the representation of hospitals, physician groups, and other health care organizations regarding the regulatory, transactional, and business aspects of health care law. Gray counsels clients on a variety of intellectual property-related matters and assists with patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret matters for a variety of local and national clients.
