Mottley to Present at Ohio Municipal League Annual Conference
Taft attorney J. Donald Mottley will participate in the Ohio Municipal League 2020 Annual Conference, which will take place virtually Nov. 9-13. The annual conference will offer many sessions that will deal exclusively with the myriad of unique challenges Ohio local leaders are facing due to COVID-19.
Mottley will be a panelist in a session on Nov. 10 titled “Work from Home and Municipal Income Tax Revenue.” He will present alongside Amy Arrighi, chief legal counsel for the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA).
Mottley focuses his practice on state and local tax matters, tax issues involving non-profit organizations, tax controversies (federal, state, and local), and on public agency law. As a public agency lawyer, Don both represents public agency clients and represents other clients before public agencies. He is also a director of Focused Capitol Solutions LLC, a business affiliate of the law firm of Taft, which provides governmental relations and public policy services at its offices in Cincinnati and Columbus.
