Mitchell Named to Leadership Cleveland Class of 2027
Taft Cleveland partner John R. Mitchell has been named to Leadership Cleveland’s Class of 2027. The class consists of Northeast Ohio leaders from a variety of sectors, including finance, entrepreneurship, education, healthcare, law, manufacturing, real estate, construction, sports and entertainment.
The Cleveland Leadership Center program, originally founded in 1978, aims to connect leaders in the region, strengthen cross-sector relationships, and increase positive community impact. Of this year’s class, 50% of individuals are from the for-profit sector, 31% are from nonprofits, and 19% are from organizations considered “economic influencers,” including city and county governments, hospitals, airports, and universities.

Mitchell is a partner in Taft’s Compliance, Investigations, and White Collar Defense and Commercial Litigation practices. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, whose membership is restricted to the top one percent of trial lawyers in each state. He is also president-elect of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
