Taft Indianapolis partner Russell Menyhart will present at the 2019 World Trade Day hosted by the Indy Chamber on May 3. He will discuss legal issues involved with exporting and provide tips on executing a good export compliance program. The half-day summit features sessions for Indiana exporters, conversations on global talent and the latest developments in international trade.

Menyhart is a former diplomat with extensive international experience, most recently serving as political unit chief at the U.S. Consulate in Shanghai from 2011-2014. He assists clients in navigating international legal issues, and a substantial portion of his practice is focused on compliance with anti-corruption laws and export controls, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and other relevant laws and regulations.
