Menyhart to Present at America China Society of Indiana’s China Business Conference
Taft partner Russell Menyhart will be a speaker at the America China Society of Indiana’s Business Conference on Oct. 22. The conference will focus on the future of U.S.-China business relations including trade, tariffs and bilateral investment. Menyhart will present on the current state of U.S.-China political and economic relations.
Menyhart is a former diplomat with extensive international experience, most recently serving as political unit chief at the U.S. Consulate in Shanghai from 2011-2014. He assists clients in navigating international legal issues, and a substantial portion of his practice is focused on compliance with anti-corruption laws and export controls, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and other relevant laws and regulations. Menyhart is a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and a fellow in the Public Intellectuals Program.
