Menyhart Quoted in South China Morning Post on U.S.-China Relations
Taft partner Russell Menyhart was quoted in the article “Coronavirus: the high stakes propelling the U.S.-China blame game,” which was published by the South China Morning Post on March 20. The article discusses current tensions in the U.S.-China relationship and the additional impact of COVID-19.
Menyhart is a former diplomat with extensive international experience, most recently serving as political unit chief at the U.S. Consulate in Shanghai from 2011-2014. He assists clients in navigating international legal issues, and a substantial portion of his practice is focused on foreign investment and international trade, including CFIUS, anti-corruption compliance and export controls. Menyhart is also a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and a fellow in its Public Intellectuals Program.
