McSpadden Elected to Julian Center Board of Directors

Taft attorney Nadine McSpadden has been appointed to The Julian Center’s Board of Directors, effective July 1. The Julian Center is the largest domestic violence shelter in Indiana, providing 3,117 survivors with services last year alone. The agency empowers survivors of domestic and sexual violence, equips them to live a life free of abuse, and creates a community where every individual is safe and respected. As a member of the board of directors, McSpadden will join other leaders in the statewide community to help support and oversee the CEO and administrators as they carry out this important work.

McSpadden is an experienced appellate advocate, litigator, and advisor. She has been the lead attorney on many appeals in the Indiana Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, and has also practiced in multiple federal Circuit Courts of Appeals. She serves on the board of directors of Indiana Youth Group, which serves and empowers LGBTQ+ youth,  and has done pro bono work for Indiana Legal Services, Child Advocates, Indiana Youth Group, GenderNexus, and Heartland Alliance.
