He also assists start-up and emerging companies with business formation, fundraising, compensation, securities and other matters that entrepreneurial businesses encounter.

McDonald is a co-founder The Brandery, a top 10 business accelerator. In addition to his work with The Brandery, McDonald co-manages Vine Street Ventures Fund I, a venture capital fund dedicated to investing in web and mobile technology companies.
