Taft partner Ann O’Connor McCready has been selected as a finalist in the law category for the 2020 Indy’s Best & Brightest Awards. McCready will be recognized along with other finalists at the awards program and reception on March 11 at Hilbert Circle Theatre. Indy’s Best & Brightest awards were created by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana to recognize the next generation of leaders in our community. The event honors 100 of central Indiana’s most outstanding young professionals, age 40 and under, in 10 different industries.

McCready counsels clients on litigation matters that span a variety of areas, including business and contract disputes, complex environmental and toxic tort litigation, intellectual property disputes, products liability claims, securities and white-collar criminal litigation. She maintains a diverse caseload, and her experience includes several federal appeals. McCready has been recognized by her peers for her accomplishments and was named an Illinois Rising Star in 2014 and 2015 and an Indiana Rising Star since 2017. She was also recognized by The Indiana Lawyer’s Leadership in Law Awards as an Up and Coming Lawyer in 2018.
