McClellan Selected for Federal Bar Association PLEDGE Award

Cincinnati attorney Annie McClellan was selected as a PLEDGE Emerging Leader recipient, awarded by the John W. Peck Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. The PLEDGE award is given to honorees who demonstrate exceptional legal talent and skill, exemplify outstanding attorney standards and professionalism, and exhibit commitment and dedication to their workplace and community.

McClellan is an attorney in Taft’s Litigation group and advises individual and business clients on all aspects of the litigation process. She has achieved success across many diverse cases, including successfully arguing for the reversal of class certification at the Indiana Court of Appeals, prevailing in a jury trial as part of an employment litigation team, and obtaining an acquittal in a public corruption case as part of the white collar appeals team. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and clerked for the Hon. Amul Thapar and the Hon. John Nalbandian, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, as well as the Hon. Justin Walker, U.S. of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
