Taft attorney Melissa A. Macchia has been elected chair of the board of directors for the Marion County Commission on Youth (MCCOY). MCCOY’s mission is to champion the positive development of youth through leadership on key issues and support of the youth worker community.  Macchia was previously vice-chair and has served on the board since December 2013.

Macchia is an associate in Taft’s Labor & Employment and Litigation groups. She focuses her practice in all areas of labor and employment law, with a particular emphasis on prevention and defense of employment litigation. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Valparaiso University and earned her B.A., cum laude, from Marquette University.
