Lee Receives Distinguished Service Award
Taft partner Chou-il Lee received the Distinguished Service Award from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law on October 2. Presented during the law school’s fall alumni board meeting alongside three other recipients, the award honors alumni who demonstrate exceptional dedication to their communities and the law school well beyond traditional professional and civic duties.
As a litigation partner, Lee leads Taft’s municipal subgroup and focuses his practice on litigation and municipal representation. He is also a member of Taft’s Associate Advancement and Recruiting Committee and its Inclusion and Opportunity Committee. In addition to his service on the Maurer Alumni Board, he sits on the boards for the Community Health Network Foundation, the Civic Theatre, Accelerate Indiana Municipalities, and remains deeply engaged in civic leadership across Indiana.
