Lavender and White to Present at IndyBar’s 2020 IP Year in Review
Taft attorneys Derek Lavender and Ryan White will present at the Indianapolis Bar Association’s 2020 IP Year in Review webinar on April 7. They will discuss major 2020 patent litigation and decisions, as well as focus on current patent prosecution strategies.
Lavender is a registered patent attorney and practices in all areas of intellectual property law, with a focus on patent preparation and prosecution. He has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in technologies such as medical devices, material science, electrical control systems, agricultural equipment, electro-pneumatic systems, electro-hydraulic systems, and transmission assemblies among others.
White is a registered patent attorney and counsels individual and corporate clients in all areas of intellectual property law, including the preparation, procurement, licensing and enforcement of patents, as well as the drafting and review of licensing and supplier agreements, IP protection clauses and confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements. His practice also involves patent litigation, where he assists clients through complex patent disputes, including representing clients across a wide array of technology areas before various federal district courts, as well as the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
