Kight and Nave to Present at IBA's Leonard H. Opperman Chapter 11 Roundtable and Reception
Taft attorneys Andrew T. Kight and Erin C. Nave will present at the Indianapolis Bar Association's Leonard H. Opperman Chapter 11 Roundtable and Reception on May 9. The event features a roundtable format designed to invite critical discussion of emerging issues in Chapter 11 practice. Kight will present on conflicts in Chapter 11 representations, including balancing representation of the debtor with the closely related interests of insiders. Nave will co-present on utilizing electronic discovery in fraud cases.
Kight is a partner in Taft's Business Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights practice group. He represents both debtors and creditors in commercial reorganizations and liquidations, including all aspects of bankruptcy litigation. He also represents businesses and individuals in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, assists clients in renegotiating and restructuring loans and credit obligations, and engages in all aspects of post-judgment enforcement and collection.
Nave is a member of Taft's Litigation and Business Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights practice groups. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation and complex Chapter 11 proceedings, including all aspects of bankruptcy litigation. Nave represents clients in courts nationwide in matters pertaining to preferences and fraudulent transfers, non-dischargeability, complex contract disputes and business torts. She also counsels distressed businesses, secured creditors and others concerning litigation avoidance, out-of-court workouts and contested bankruptcy issues.
