Taft Public Relations Director Brian Kiefer has been recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business as one of its Notable Leaders in Communications for 2026. The recognition honors outstanding communications professionals across the Chicago area who have demonstrated leadership, made significant contributions to their organizations and industries, and positively impacted their communities.

Since joining Taft in December 2024, Kiefer has played a key role in elevating the firm’s national profile during a period of historic growth. He led communications efforts surrounding Taft’s three mergers in 2025 and the launch of its New York office in April 2026, helping position Taft as one of the nation’s fastest-growing law firms. Today, Taft has more than 1,300 attorneys across 25 offices nationwide, with annual revenue exceeding $1.1 billion.
