Khuans Coaches Loyola Law Moot Court Team to Regional Victory

Taft Chicago attorney Nicollette Khuans coached Loyola University Chicago School of Law’s National Moot Court Team to regional success last month. Both Loyola teams went undefeated in the preliminary and quarterfinal rounds. The team of Ashni Gandhi, Patrick Thompson, and Abby Lehman proceeded to the final round and will compete in the national rounds in New York City in February 2023. Khuans has served as a coach for the last six years and led five teams to victory as regional champions.

Loyola’s moot court program fields approximately 20 moot court competition teams. Faculty, alumni, and other members of the bar serve as coaches for the teams.

Khuans focuses her practice on commercial litigation in the circuit and federal courts. Earlier this year, she was recognized as the 2022 Moot Court Coach of the Year for her work with Loyola’s National Moot Court Competition team.
