Johnson Selected as Finalist for 2016 Indy’s Best & Brightest Awards
Taft attorney Ronan Johnson has been selected as a finalist in the law category for the 2016 Indy’s Best & Brightest awards. He was also a finalist in 2015. Johnson will be recognized with the other finalists at an awards event on Nov. 9 at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.
Johnson is a member of Taft's Business & Finance group and represents private equity funds, large multi-national corporations and closely-held and family-owned businesses in complex transactions involving mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations. He also advises growth stage and mature companies in connection with securing debt and equity financing and counsels business clients on general corporate matters.
Johnson is a board member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis and Meals on Wheels and also serves on committees for United Way of Central Indiana, Leadership Indianapolis, the Penrod Society and Charles A. Tindley Accelerated Schools. He is a graduate of the IndyBar Bar Leader Series (Class XII) and was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 list in 2016.
Johnson graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics in 2002. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2009, where he served as an associate editor of the Journal of Law & Policy.
