Johnson Joins IU Maurer School of Law LGBT Alumni Advisory Board
Taft attorney Cara Johnson has joined the Indiana University Maurer School of Law LGBT Alumni Advisory Board. The board is responsible for supporting LGBT students and allies at the law school and for sponsoring periodic events focused on legal issues of importance to the LGBT community.
Johnson is an associate in Taft’s Business & Finance practice and a member of the firm’s Gender Advancement Committee. She focuses her practice on a mix of transactional and general corporate work, including M&A, joint venture and other business transactions; drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, tech agreements and privacy policies; and working with companies within central Indiana’s growing socially responsible business and impact investment community.
