Jaimin Shah Rejoins Taft's IP Litigation Group

Taft Law is pleased to announce Jaimin Shah has rejoined the firm’s Chicago office as an associate in the Intellectual Property practice. Shah focuses on patent litigation and has experience in a variety of technologies such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, smartphone messaging apps, digital data compression systems, oil drilling, fire-resistant glass flooring, and packaging machinery. He has also represented clients in inter partes review and other post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

Shah received his J.D. from the UIC-John Marshall Law School and a Master of Science in biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He served as a judicial extern for the Hon. James F. Holderman and the Hon. Virginia M. Kendall in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
