Taft Minneapolis attorney Grace E.K. Rouser will co-present the CLE Webinar, “Proving Damages in Trademark and Copyright cases” hosted by BARBRI on Oct. 6.

Throughout this program, Rouser will co-present a CLE program examining how counsel can assess and prove damages in trademark and copyright infringement litigation. The presenters will address available remedies—including statutory and actual damages, reputational harm, corrective-advertising costs, and disgorgement—as well as strategic considerations involving expert testimony and burden shifting. Speakers will also discuss recent Supreme Court decisions affecting trademark-profit awards and the potential recovery period for copyright damages, along with the growing importance of damages issues in AI-related copyright litigation.
