Taft Minneapolis is excited to welcome Jon Levy to the firm as a partner focusing on investment management clients.
Levy brings his decades of experience in advising investment managers, investment companies, and institutional investors on securities and corporate law. He has significant experience in investment management, public-company disclosure, public mergers and acquisitions, and other change-in-control and strategic transactions. Prior to joining Taft, Levy served as senior counsel in the Enforcement Division of the Securities Exchange Commission’s South East Regional Office. Levy often speaks and writes on the topics of securities law, asset management, fiduciary duties, and more. At his prior firm, he co-authored several “Investment Management Updates.”
“We could not be more thrilled to have Jon join Taft. Jon’s expertise in the investment management area strengthens the already deep bench we have across the firm,” said Justin Weinberg, partner-in-charge of the Taft Minneapolis office. “Throughout the past two years, we have focused on recruiting talent among people that strive to deliver great service and contribute to our culture in a positive way. With the addition of Jon, it demonstrates our efforts continue to be successful.”
