Taft partner Alan Hux has been elected to the board of directors for the Near North Development Corporation (NNDC). NNDC is a not-for-profit community organization that fosters community revitalization by increasing affordable housing and economic growth.

Hux represents various real estate developers and also provides a variety of legal services for utilities concentrating on assisting freeholders (landowners) in the formation and utilization of conservancy districts. He serves on the board of directors for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum and the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund.
