Hicks Quoted in The Indiana Lawyer Article on Taft's Change to One-Tier Partnership
Taft Managing Partner Bob Hicks was quoted in The Indiana Lawyer article “Taft switches to single-tier partnership structure to attract talent, encourage fresh voices,” which was published on March 7. On Jan. 31, Taft announced that it had adopted a one-class partnership structure, eliminating the two-tier system (equity and non-equity) that had been in place for more than 25 years.
Hicks serves as Chairman of Taft’s Executive Committee and Managing Partner of the firm. He focuses his practice on complex business and commercial transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, structured financings, business advisory services and structural tax matters. He serves as outside counsel for the largest private equity fund in Indiana, along with several other substantial and successful businesses.
