Hicks and Law Quoted in IBJ Article
Taft attorneys Robert J. Hicks and Adam M. Law were quoted in the Indianapolis Business Journal article “Indy’s biggest law firms lift pay for new associates, but larger cities go further,” which was published on Aug. 6. The article discusses the national trend of large firms raising associate salaries.
Hicks is presently the partner-in-charge of Taft’s Indianapolis office and will become Taft’s firm-wide managing partner on Jan. 1, 2017. He is a member of the Business & Finance group. Hicks focuses his practice on complex business and commercial transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, structured financings, business advisory services and structural tax matters. He serves as outside counsel for the largest private equity fund in Indiana, along with several businesses.
Law is an associate in Taft’s Business & Finance and Real Estate groups. He represents clients in all aspects of the acquisition, financing, construction, development, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate. Law's practice also includes general corporate counseling, as well as complex business and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, divestitures and corporate financing.
