Taft Intellectual Property partner Gerald Helget has received the “Patents Award – Minnesota” from the International Advisory Experts (IAE), a global referral network with members in 160 countries. The award winners were chosen by IAE peers and through a review of experience in their field.

Helget is licensed patent attorney of 37 years and practices principally in the areas of patents, trademarks, trade dress, licensing, intellectual property litigation, copyrights, trade secrets, and related matters. He serves as a member of Taft’s Distressed Company Task Force that was created to assist borrower clients in every way, including in discussions with their lenders and in addressing concerns over suppliers and stakeholders.
