Taft Cleveland partner-in-charge, Jill Freidman Helfman is a co-chair of the 8th Annual LaunchHouse Bootstrap Bash to be held Sat., Jan. 29 at Red Space in Cleveland.
The event celebrates the entrepreneurial community of Greater Cleveland.
Joe Kanfer, chairman of GOJO Industries, will be awarded the Visionary Entrepreneur Award. In addition, one Cleveland entrepreneur will receive the Better Business Bureau Spark Award and a $2,000 prize. The event is organized in collaboration with the Cleveland Jewish News.
LaunchHouse is a community of entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. Their collaborative co-working environment and educational programs serve as a resource to Northeast Ohio’s entrepreneurial community. LaunchHouse offers more than 50 free educational and networking programs each year for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Since its foundation in 2008, LaunchHouse has invested in 65 companies that have raised more than $32 million in follow-on funding, assisted more than 10,500 entrepreneurs through programs and events, provided 4,000 hours of business counseling, provided co-working space for more than 225 companies and hosted more than 595 free events.
