Heck Recognized as Leader at Centerville City Council Meeting

Attorney Zachary Heck was recognized at the monthly Centerville City Council meeting for his role as Centerville High School’s mock trial coach. Heck has served as Centerville’s mock trial coach for 14 years and he donates his time to mentoring high school students in the areas of public speaking, advocacy, legal analysis, and constitutional rights. The city council recognized both the merits of the mock trial program as well as Heck and Taft’s dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of high school students.  

Heck’s practice focuses on privacy and data security. Specifically, Heck assists clients in the areas of privacy compliance, defense litigation, class action defense and guidance in the aftermath of an information security event, including data breach. Heck has experience advising clients with respect to FTC investigations, federal privacy regulations such as HIPAA, FCRA, TCPA, and GLBA, as well as state laws governing personally identifiable information. For his clients, he also provides regulatory analysis, risk management, policy development, training, and audits. Additionally, he is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the fields of United States and European Union laws and regulations.
