Heck Elected to Board of Directors at Technology First
Taft Partner Zachary Heck was recently voted onto the board of directors at Technology First, the Greater Dayton IT Alliance, by a unanimous decision. He received his nomination due to his outstanding work in the legal field regarding technological and data matters. Technology First is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a resource and community for professionals in the field of information technology. The organization provides opportunities for collaboration and networking between IT professionals. Heck will serve on the board of directors for at least the next three years.
Heck is based in Taft’s Dayton office. His practice centers on privacy, data security, and AI governance for companies deploying data-intensive systems. He advises organizations on the design and oversight of AI tools, including compliance with emerging state, federal, and international frameworks, and automated decision-making rules. His work spans incident response, data-governance programs, and counseling technology and financial firms on blockchain, digital assets, and AI-driven products, and he holds IAPP certifications in U.S., EU, and AI governance.
