Heck Earns Fellow of Information Privacy Designation

Taft Dayton partner Zachary Heck has earned the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

The FIP designation recognizes experienced privacy professionals who have demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of privacy laws, privacy program management, and data protection practices. To qualify, professionals must hold multiple IAPP credentials, document at least three years of significant privacy-related work experience, and provide references.

The IAPP is a global, nonprofit association focused on defining, promoting, and improving the professions of privacy, AI governance, and digital responsibility.

Heck’s practice focuses on privacy, data security, and artificial intelligence counseling. He advises clients on privacy compliance, data governance, information security incidents, and the responsible development and deployment of AI systems. Heck holds several IAPP credentials, including Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP).
