Hagerman and Lady to Present at Indiana State Bar Association’s 2018 Annual Meeting
Taft partners Nathan Hagerman and Todd Lady will present at the Indiana State Bar Association’s 2018 Annual Meeting, held Oct. 10-12 in French Lick, Ind. They will co-present with Julie Camden of Camden & Meridew “Tax Reform Considerations” and will discuss some of the provisions of the new federal income tax law from both a federal and state tax perspective.
Hagerman practices in the area of multistate taxation and counsels business clients in all areas of state and local taxes, including controversies, administrative proceedings, audits, appeals, litigation and planning. He helps companies understand national, state and local, and international tax structures and align the tax function with business objectives.
Lady focuses his practice on general corporate taxation and international tax matters. He frequently represents clients with respect to domestic and cross-border M&A, inbound investment by non-U.S. persons, taxation of financial instruments and foreign currency denominated investments, choice of legal entity and the application of the United States tax-treaty network. Lady is also chair of Taft’s Finance Committee.
