Grady Honored by Illinois Comptroller During African-American History Month
Taft partner Graham C. Grady was one of four African-American community leaders honored by Illinois State Comptroller Susana Mendoza at a ceremony on Feb. 16 in Chicago. Mendoza recognized the individuals that “embody the spirit of African-American History Month.” Additional honorees included TV and radio personality Merri Dee, restauranteur and community activist Quentin Love and former Chicago police officer and founder of the nonprofit Future Ties Jennifer Maddox.
Grady focuses his practice on the city of Chicago and Cook County, and other stakeholders. He provides legal counsel for compliance, regulatory, public policy, zoning, land use, licensing, construction agreements, government contracts, procurement and legislative approvals.
