Grady Featured in BOMA Announcement of Modernized Building Code
Chicago Real Estate partner Graham C. Grady contributed to a video produced by the Building Owners and Managers Association of Chicago (BOMA) that heralded the finalization of Chicago’s Modernized Building Code.
Michael Cornicelli, EVP of BOMA Chicago, and Judith Frydland, Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Buildings, kicked-off the two-minute video by describing the streamlined services and reduced construction costs that will result from the modernized building code.
Grady underscored the benefits by stating that the new code will bring greater certainty and predictability through:
- Better permitting
- Consistent inspection results
- Less need for ad hoc interpretations

Grady focuses his practice on the City of Chicago and Cook County and helps secure necessary approvals for land developments in the Chicago metropolitan area. He received his. B.A. from the University of Illinois where he was a student member of the Board of Trustees. He earned his J.D., with honors, from Northwestern University School of Law.
