Gardner and Ring to Speak at 2017 Indiana Environmental Conference
Taft attorneys William R. Gardner and Matthew Ring will present at the 2017 Indiana Environmental Conference, which will be held Oct. 23-24 in Indianapolis. Gardner will co-present “Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Revolution: New Rules, New Compliance Strategies,” and Ring will present “What’s New in Process Safety Management (PSM): Recent Changes to the OSHA PSM and EPA Risk Management Plan Rules and Expectations under the Trump Administration.”
Gardner is a member of Taft’s Environmental group. His practice focuses on environmental compliance and permitting, complex environmental litigation and permit appeals, managing environmental remediation projects and advising clients on environmental due diligence.
Ring is also a member of Taft’s Environmental group. Prior to joining Taft, he worked at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, where he reviewed and advised on NRC licensing and enforcement actions for compliance with Atomic Energy Act, NEPA and NRC regulations; litigated licensing and enforcement actions before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board and the Commission; and reviewed and advised NRC staff on administrative law matters, including investigations, subpoenas and petitions for enforcement.
