Taft partner Marcia Fudge received the Lifetime Achievement Award in a new edition of “Who’s Who In Black Cleveland,” which was unveiled during a reception in Cleveland on July 22.
“Who’s Who in Black” is an organization that has celebrated Black achievements across three cities – Columbus, Detroit, and Cleveland – through networking and publication over the last 30 years.
This year’s edition focuses on politics and government as it highlights nearly 250 Black individuals. “Marcia Fudge’s Lifetime Achievement Award honors her unwavering dedication, exemplary leadership, and profound impact on our community,” said Rhonda Crowder, associate publisher of “Who’s Who in Black Cleveland.”
Fudge is a partner in Taft’s Public Affairs Strategies Group and serves as firmwide Chair of Public Policy. She brings more than five decades of experience working with lawmakers, elected officials, key staff, and coalitions at the local, state, and federal levels. From 2021 to 2024, she served as the 18th Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
